One change. One place.

Genara turns one visual Model of Truth into a production backend — services, APIs, infrastructure. Change the model and everything downstream follows: no hunting through eleven files to add one field.

What we do

One model of truth. The whole backend follows.

Stop stitching together scattered docs, hand-written boilerplate and brittle configs. Design once in Genara and let templates, automations and AI generate the rest. Every screen below is the real product, filled with a demo shop backend.

Plugins

Bring the stack you already run.

Every line Genara writes comes from a plugin — framework, persistence, validation, CI, deployment. Switch them on per project or per service, pin the version, and the generated code follows. Missing something? Write your own plugin in a few lines, or describe it and let the assistant draft it.

Assistant

AI that fills in. You press save.

The assistant reads what you can read and fills in the fields you have open — descriptions, data types, endpoints. Read, Manual or Auto: you decide how far it may go. It can run on your own machine, so your model never leaves the building.

How can I help with this project?

  • What does this project do?
  • Which services exist, and what is each responsible for?
  • Write a description for the form I have open.
  • Which data types are not referenced by any endpoint?
ReadManualAutoAsks before it creates a service, type, endpoint or variable.

The three numbers

Four things fit in your head. Your backend has forty.

Working memory holds about four things at once, and experience doesn't make that number bigger. So we didn't build a tool that types faster — we built one that leaves fewer things for you to hold.

Places per change

18 down to →1place per change

Add one field to a data type and let it land in the API, the store, and the client types. Count the files you touch by hand — generated ones don't count.

18 is ours, counted on 1 Sep 2026: one scalar field on one data type lives in 18 hand-written files across our two repos — schema, DTOs, history strategy, client type, Zod schemas, two separate forms, list, detail, error label, mocks, specs. We repeated the count on two more fields and got 18 again, and 20.

Time to first edit

< 60seconds after a break

Come back from lunch and change something, instead of spending a quarter of an hour rebuilding where you were.

Time to first orientation

< 40minutes for someone new

How long until a new person can point at the place a change belongs. Past that it isn't a knowledge gap — it's a layout problem.

Don't take our word for it — take the numbers and run them on your own repo. These are the three we build against, and the three you can measure yourself, today, without us. We started with our own, and it wasn't flattering.

One counted, two still targets: the 18 is a real count in our own repos, the other two are what we build against. We'll publish those the day we measure them, not before.
